How to Use This Site

Our website has been designed to be user friendly and serve as a resource for human rights, humanitarian and peace building activists, students and researchers who are seeking to learn more about the role of war and child soldiering in Southern and Great Lakes region, Africa and contribute to the solutions. Please visit the various sections of our site to become acquainted with its wide range of peace building, human rights, campaign,  end child soldiering, education and news information resources. Our site is new and will be growing and developing over the fullness of time.

Our website, too, is focused on the twenty year war in Northern Uganda, a war which abducts children to become child soldiers, a war which has devastated the entire Acholi community in Uganda and displaced 1.6 million people into squalid Internally Displaced Persons camps, yet a war which remains largely invisible to the world. We hope our profile of the war as well as the urgent needs of the Acholi and other communities which have been displaced into IDP camps, together with learning about the inspiring peace and community building efforts in Uganda, will help to build global solidarity and tangible responses to a humanitarian crisis that begs for compassion and timely, concrete activism.

Our website will be updated on a regular basis. Thank you for visiting our site.
