Peace Building initiatives are taking place around the world, especially in regions of conflict. Developing peace building skills and supporting peace building initiatives helps to end wars and violent conflict, and prevent new wars and violent conflict from arising. Supporting peace building initiatives is another way to be a respectful ally of communities victimized by war and violence. Teaching peace, as a teacher or community activist, also helps to build a culture of peace in our communities, and globally.
